clause initial interrogative marker occurring in fairly formal speech; it indicates that the following clause is a question, and may sometimes be translated by expressions like `Tell me ...?' or, in subordinate clauses, `if' or `whether'
Eg. ខ្ញុំចង់ដឹងអំពីទស្សនកិច្ចរបស់លោកទៅប្រទេសខ្មែរ តើលោកអញ្ជើញ ពីបាងកកទៅភ្នំពេញដោយវិធីណា?: I'd like to hear about your trip to Cambodia; how did you go from Bangkok to Phnom Penh? -
